Maharashtra MBBS/BDS Round 3 Seat Matrix 2026 has been released. Candidates can now check the updated seat distribution for MBBS and BDS admissions and plan their choice filling accordingly.
The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, Mumbai, has released the Provisional Seat Matrix for MBBS/BDS Courses for Round 3 of NEET (UG) 2026-27 admissions. The matrix covers Government, Government Aided, Corporation, Private and Minority medical and dental colleges. It was printed on October 6, 2026, and its status is shown as "Original".

Government MBBS colleges (43 colleges)
- Total intake capacity: 6,050 seats, including 965 All India Quota (AIQ) seats
- Seats shown in the Round 3 matrix: 259 (251 state seats and 8 other reservation seats)
- Government Medical College, Ahilyanagar has the largest number of seats among government colleges, with 85 seats in the matrix.
Private MBBS colleges (25 colleges)
- Total intake capacity: 3,299 seats
- Seats shown in the Round 3 matrix: 689 (358 state seats and 331 Institute Quota seats)
- Vedanta Medical College, Palghar has the most seats among private colleges, with 129 seats. ACPM Medical College, Dhule (62 seats) and Prakash Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Islampur, Sangli (61 seats) follow.
Private University MBBS colleges (2 colleges)
- Total intake capacity: 450 seats
- Seats shown in the Round 3 matrix: 279 (108 state seats, 68 NRI seats and 103 AIQ seats)
- N.K.P. Salve Medical College, Nagpur has 176 seats, and Dr. V.V.P.F.'s Medical College, Ahilyanagar has 103 seats.

Government BDS colleges (5 colleges)
- Total intake capacity: 376 seats, including 56 AIQ seats
- Seats shown in the Round 3 matrix: 72 (67 state seats and 5 other reservation seats)
- The colleges are Government Dental College Mumbai, Nair Hospital Dental College Mumbai, Government Dental College Jalgaon, Government Dental College Nagpur and Government Dental College, Ch. Sambhajinagar.
Private BDS colleges (23 colleges)
- Total intake capacity: 2,200 seats
- Seats shown in the Round 3 matrix: 837 (662 state seats and 175 Institute Quota seats)
- Aditya Dental College, Beed (61 seats) and Dr. R.R. Kambe Dental College and Hospital, Akola (60 seats) have the most seats.
Private University BDS college (1 college)
- Ranjeet Deshmukh Dental College and Research Centre, Hingana, Nagpur: intake capacity of 100 seats, with 66 seats in the matrix (30 state seats, 15 NRI seats and 21 AIQ seats)
What the Matrix Includes
- College-wise seat details for MBBS and BDS, divided into General, Women, PwD, Orphan and Hilly Area categories.
- State category columns for SC, ST, VJA, NTB, NTC, NTD, OBC, SEBC and EWS, along with the open seats.
- Other reservation seats (D1, D2, D3, MK), Institute Quota, NRI and AIQ seats, where applicable.
Important Notes for Candidates
- The seat position is subject to change based on information from the institute, MUHS Nashik, NMC/DCI, orders of the Hon'ble Courts, and the State or Central Government.
- The Government or the CET Cell Commissioner may change the seat position before the allotment of seats in the CAP round(s).
- Seats will be allotted after receiving affiliation from MUHS, Nashik or the respective Council.
