The Maharashtra State CET Cell has opened a new registration window for MBBS and BDS (Group A) State Quota seats for the academic year 2026-27. The notice (Notice No. 31, dated October 30, 2026) says the window is for the Stray Vacancy Round and follows the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) schedule for its Special Stray Vacancy Round.

Registration opens on October 31, 2026 and closes on November 2, 2026. Candidates must finish three steps within the window: registration, fee payment and document upload.

Who Is Eligible to Register?

Can register:

• Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 2 of MBBS and BDS (Group A) but did not join, did not report, or cancelled the seat, as long as they did not register during the CAP-3 round.

Cannot register:

• Candidates who have already registered earlier.
• Candidates who were allotted a seat in CAP-3 or in any later stray vacancy round.

Things Candidates Should Not Miss

• Registration is complete only after the fee is paid. Filling the form alone is not enough.
• Upload coloured scans of all original documents. Candidates who do not upload the required documents will not be considered from the category they claim.
• This registration is for MBBS and BDS (Group A) only. Candidates registering now cannot take part in Group B and C courses.
• The schedule may change if MCC, AACCC, the Central or State Government or the Hon’ble Court gives new directions.

3. Pay the registration fee through the online payment gateway.
4. Upload coloured scans of all original documents.
5. Complete online document verification by November 3, 2026.
