The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has extended the registration deadline and released a revised schedule for CAP Round 1 admissions to MBBS and BDS (Group A) courses for the academic year 2026–27. The revision follows the extension granted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota counselling.

The CET Cell has clarified that candidates will be considered registered only after successful payment of the registration fee. Candidates must also upload coloured scanned copies of all required original documents within the specified deadline; failure to upload the documents may affect consideration under the claimed category.

Candidates can submit grievances between August 19 and 20, with supporting documentary proof required for any correction. The final merit list and seat matrix will be published on August 21, followed by choice filling from August 22 to 24.

After CAP Round 1 allotment on August 25, selected candidates must report to their allotted colleges with original documents and the required fees between August 26 and 30.

Important: NRI candidates are required to register on the Foreign Candidate Registration Portal by August 14, 2026, 11:59 PM for eligibility verification. The subsequent admission schedule will remain the same.

The revised schedule may be changed further based on directions from MCC, AACCC, the Central or State Government, or the courts.
