The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the Provisional Seat Matrix for MBBS and BDS Courses for Round 2 of NEET UG Counselling 2026–27.
The seat matrix covers Government, Government-aided, Corporation, Private and Minority Medical and Dental Colleges across Maharashtra. The document was issued on September 8, 2026.
MBBS Seat Matrix
The Round 2 matrix includes seat details for government and private medical colleges, with seats distributed across AIQ, state quota, reserved categories, EWS, Open, PwD, orphan, institutional quota and other applicable categories.
The document covers several government medical colleges, including Grant Medical College Mumbai, L.T. Medical College Mumbai, G.S. Medical College Mumbai, T.N. Medical College Mumbai, B.J. Medical College Pune, Government Medical College Nashik, Ratnagiri, Baramati, Nandurbar, Jalna, Parbhani and Hingoli, among others.
The matrix also includes private medical institutions. For example, BSP Medical College & Hospital, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, has been included with its category-wise Round 2 seat distribution.
BDS Seat Matrix
The notification also provides the Round 2 BDS seat matrix for government and private dental colleges. Government Dental College Mumbai and several private dental institutions are included in the document with category-wise seat details.
Important Note
The CET Cell has clarified that the seat position is provisional and subject to change based on information received from institutes, MUHS, NMC, DCI, courts, and the State or Central Government. The seat position may also be revised before allotment in the CAP rounds.
