What You Should Do Now
If you haven’t yet completed the process, this is your final chance to:
- Register at mcc.nic.in using your NEET 2025 credentials.
- Pay the counselling fee online before 4:00 PM on August 3.
- Fill and lock your choices by 11:59 PM on August 3 (choice locking is mandatory between 6:00 PM and 11:59 PM).
- Download the choice slip for future reference after locking.
Important Counselling Guidelines
- Auto-locking: If you don’t lock your choices, the last saved ones will be auto-locked at 11:59 PM.
- No changes after locking: Once locked, your choices cannot be edited.
- Mandatory reporting: If you’re allotted a seat in Round 1, you must report to the college or risk losing the seat and your security deposit.
- Free exit allowed: If you’re allotted a seat but choose not to report in Round 1, there will be no penalty.
- Keep documents ready: NEET scorecard, admit card, class 10 & 12 mark sheets, ID proof, caste certificate (if applicable), and PwBD certificate (if claiming reservation).
Tips for Effective Choice Filling
- Check last year’s cut-offs to estimate your chances in various colleges.
- Mix your preferences: Include a range of government, private, and deemed universities based on your budget and score.
- Prioritize sincerely: List colleges in your true order of preference; the MCC system will allot the highest possible option.
- Avoid unwanted choices: Don’t select colleges you’re not actually willing to join.
