MCC Issues Important Notice for Puducherry Domicile Candidates
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued an important notice for NEET UG 2026 candidates claiming Puducherry domicile and seeking admission under the JIPMER Puducherry & Karaikal Internal Quota.
According to the notice, only candidates whose names are included in the domicile list forwarded by the Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Puducherry, are eligible to register for the JIPMER Internal Quota during MCC counselling.
MCC has further clarified that candidates allotted an Internal Quota seat at JIPMER must produce valid documentary proof of their Puducherry domicile at the time of physical reporting. Failure to submit the required documents will result in the cancellation of the allotted seat.
The domicile list has been forwarded by the Puducherry Nodal Officer through an official communication dated August 4, 2026.
