Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), under the Directorate General of Health Services, has released an official notice dated 17 March 2026 regarding the pending refund of security deposits for NEET UG 2024 candidates.

According to the notice, candidates whose security deposit refund is still pending are required to submit Annexure A to initiate the refund process. The commission has also released a list of such candidates along with the notice.

Candidates must fill out Annexure A in the form of an affidavit on court stamp paper, duly notarized. The completed document should be sent via email to:

To ensure smooth processing, candidates must attach the following documents:

• Copy of Aadhaar Card

• NEET UG Admit Card

• Bank account details (from which payment was made and for refund)

• Scanned copy of passbook or cancelled cheque

The MCC has advised candidates to submit the required documents at the earliest to avoid delays. It has also clearly stated that incomplete or incorrect submissions may lead to further delays in the refund process.

This step has been taken to streamline the refund process and ensure that eligible candidates receive their security deposit as per the counselling rules.
