The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the NEET UG 2026 counselling schedule for the 15% All India Quota (AIQ), Deemed/Central Universities, AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER for MBBS, BDS and B.Sc Nursing courses. The schedule covers Round 2, Round 3 and the Online Stray Vacancy Round.

MCC NEET UG 2026 Round 2 Counselling

MCC Round 2 counselling includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment and reporting activities between September 3 and September 18, 2026. Candidates should follow the prescribed deadlines for each stage of the counselling process.

MCC NEET UG 2026 Round 3 Counselling

MCC Round 3 counselling will begin on September 22, 2026, with registration and payment, followed by choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment and reporting. The Round 3 reporting period will continue until October 9, 2026.

MCC NEET UG 2026 Online Stray Vacancy Round

The Online Stray Vacancy Round will commence on October 12, 2026, and candidates can complete registration, choice filling and choice locking as per the prescribed schedule. The final reporting period will continue until October 26, 2026.

NEET UG 2026 State Counselling Schedule

The accompanying schedule also outlines the timeline for State Quota counselling, including Round 2, Round 3 and the Stray Round. Candidates should note the separate state-level counselling and verification dates.

Academic Session

The NEET UG 2026 academic session for UG courses is scheduled to commence on September 15, 2026. MCC has also directed participating institutes and colleges to treat Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted holidays as working days for counselling-related activities.
