MCC NEET UG Round 2 Counselling Registration Begins

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started the registration process for NEET UG 2026 Round 2 counselling. Eligible candidates can register through the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in, from 1:00 PM onwards. The counselling round will cover MBBS, BDS and B.Sc Nursing seats under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ), Central Universities, AIIMS, JIPMER, ESIC institutions and Deemed Universities.

Candidates who participated in Round 1 but were not allotted a seat will be carried forward automatically and do not need to register again. However, candidates who did not participate in Round 1 must complete fresh registration and pay the applicable registration fee to take part in Round 2.

MCC NEET UG Round 2 Registration: Steps to Apply

Candidates can complete the Round 2 registration process by following these steps:

Study MBBS Abroad 2025-26, Fees 2 lakh Per Year.

  1. Visit the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in.
  2. Go to the UG Medical Counselling section and click on the registration/login option.
  3. Read the instructions carefully and accept the terms and conditions.
  4. Enter the required personal, academic, and category details.
  5. Create a password and complete the candidate registration.
  6. Upload the required photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
  7. Pay the applicable registration fee through the online payment facility.
  8. Proceed to choice filling and select preferred colleges and courses in order of priority.
  9. Review and lock the choices before the deadline.

MCC NEET UG Round 2 Registration Fee

The applicable registration fee varies depending on the type of seat and candidate category:

Seat Category General SC/ST/OBC/PwD
AIQ & Central Universities ₹1,000 ₹500
Deemed Universities ₹5,000 ₹5,000

The registration fee is non-refundable.

Choice Filling and Seat Allotment

After completing registration, candidates can participate in the choice-filling process. Choice filling and locking will remain open until September 9, allowing candidates time to arrange their preferred colleges and courses.

The Round 2 seat allotment result is expected around September 11. Candidates who are allotted seats will then have to report to their respective institutes within the prescribed reporting period and complete the admission formalities.

Who Can Participate in MCC Round 2 Counselling?

The Round 2 counselling process is relevant for:

  • Candidates who were not allotted a seat in Round 1
  • Round 1 candidates who selected the Float option and are seeking an upgrade
  • Candidates who did not participate in Round 1 and now wish to enter the counselling process

Candidates should keep their NEET UG roll number, scorecard and category-related documents ready before beginning the registration process. Applicants are advised to complete the process well before the deadline to avoid technical difficulties or heavy portal traffic at the last moment.
