The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the NEET UG 2026 counselling schedule for 15% All India Quota (AIQ), Deemed and Central Universities, along with the corresponding timeline for State Quota counselling. The schedule outlines the important dates for counselling rounds, joining deadlines, verification of joined candidates, and the commencement of the academic session.

As per the official schedule, Round 1 AIQ counselling will be conducted from August 4 to August 17, 2026, while State Quota Round 1 will take place from August 13 to August 22, 2026. The last date to join for AIQ Round 1 is August 22, whereas State Quota candidates must complete joining by August 28, 2026.

The second round of counselling for AIQ is scheduled from August 24 to September 2, followed by Round 3 from September 10 to September 18. The Online Stray Vacancy Round will be held between September 28 and October 3, 2026, with the final joining deadline set for October 10, 2026.

According to MCC, the academic session for UG medical courses will commence on September 8, 2026. The notification also instructs all participating institutes and counselling authorities to treat Saturdays, Sundays, and Gazetted Holidays as working days to ensure timely completion of the counselling process.
