Meghalaya NEET UG Counselling for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS & BUMS Begins
The Directorate of Health Services, Medical Education & Research (DME), Meghalaya, has announced the schedule for UG medical counselling 2026-27 for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS and BUMS courses under the State Quota.
As per the notification issued on 31 August 2026, the counselling process will be conducted from 1 September to 3 September 2026 at the designated venue in Shillong. The counselling will include State Quota seats, Central Pool seats and seats at Shillong Medical College, Shillong, as applicable.
Meghalaya NEET UG 2026 Counselling Dates
The notification was issued vide No. DHSMER.150/MBBS Admission/2026-27/5286 dated 31 August 2026. Candidates are required to attend counselling according to their allotted time slots.
Candidates who are unable to attend on the first day have been permitted to appear on Day 2 or Day 3 of the counselling process.

Counselling Venue
The Meghalaya UG medical counselling will be conducted at:
Directorate of Health Services (MI), Conference Room, 3rd Floor, Health Complex, Laitumkhrah, Shillong – 1
Candidates should report at the venue according to their prescribed time slot.
Documents Required
As mentioned in the original notification, candidates were instructed to bring the following original documents:
- Birth Certificate
- Permanent Residential Certificate
- SC/ST Certificate, if applicable
However, candidates should note that the DME Meghalaya subsequently issued an addendum revising and expanding the document requirements. The updated list also includes the NEET UG 2026 Score Card and Admit Card, Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and passing certificates, Aadhaar Card and other applicable documents.
Candidates are therefore advised to follow the latest document requirements while appearing for counselling and document verification.
