Mizoram NEET UG Vacant Seats to Be Filled Strictly on Merit Basis

The Directorate of Higher & Technical Education, Government of Mizoram, has issued an Office Order regarding the filling up of vacant seats under NEET UG courses.

As per the order, all vacant seats under various NEET (UG) courses will be filled strictly on the basis of merit among candidates who have submitted the prescribed “Seat Hauna Form” within the stipulated period.

  • A merit list will be prepared according to the applicable rules and eligibility criteria.
  • Vacant seats will be allotted strictly according to the order of merit.
  • Allotment will remain subject to fulfillment of prescribed eligibility conditions and availability of seats.
  • Candidates who have not submitted the “Seat Hauna Form” will not be considered for vacant-seat filling.
  • The order has come into force with immediate effect.

The notice has been issued by the Directorate of Higher & Technical Education, Mizoram, on September 7, 2026, and is relevant for candidates seeking admission against vacant NEET UG seats in the state.
