The Office of the Commissioner, Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh, has released the tentative schedule for MP State Combined NEET UG Counselling 2026 (MBBS/BDS). As per the notification dated 3 August 2026, the Round 1 online registration for eligible NEET UG 2026 candidates will begin on 5 August 2026 and continue until 13 August 2026 (11:59 PM) through the official counselling portal.

The state merit list of registered candidates will be published on 14 August 2026, followed by choice filling and locking from 15 August to 18 August 2026. The Round 1 seat allotment result is scheduled to be announced on 20 August 2026.

Candidates allotted seats must report to their respective medical or dental colleges for document verification and admission between 21 August and 27 August 2026. During the same period, candidates can also opt for online resignation/cancellation and submit their upgradation preference (Yes/No) for the second round. The Directorate has made it mandatory for all admitted candidates to exercise the upgradation option before the admission slip is generated.
