MP NEET UG Counselling Round 2 Schedule Released

The Office of Commissioner Medical Education (CME), Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh has released the tentative schedule for Round 2 of MP State Combined NEET UG Counselling 2026 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. The schedule was issued on September 3, 2026.

Fresh Registration and Choice Filling

Fresh candidates who did not participate in the first round can register online from September 5 to September 6, 2026. The edit facility will also be available for already registered candidates, except those admitted through Round 1.

Candidates participating in Round 2 must complete fresh choice filling and choice locking between September 7 and September 9. This is mandatory for candidates who wish to participate in the second round, including eligible Round 1 admitted candidates who opted for upgradation.

Round 2 Allotment and Reporting

The Round 2 seat allotment result will be published on September 11, 2026. Candidates allotted seats must report in person to their respective medical or dental colleges between September 12 and September 18 for document verification and admission.

Candidates who are admitted in Round 2, as well as eligible Round 1 candidates, can exercise their willingness for upgradation to the Mop-Up Round during the same period.

Important Instructions

Candidates should carefully follow the choice-locking and upgradation requirements. The notice states that candidates opting for upgradation must exercise the required option at the time of admission. Candidates who opt for upgradation but fail to lock fresh choices may continue with their existing Round 1 seat and will not be eligible for Mop-Up Round upgradation.

Candidates resigning between September 12 and September 18 may be liable to pay a ₹2 lakh penalty in non-NRI cases and ₹10 lakh in NRI cases, and may become ineligible for subsequent rounds of counselling.
