Last Date to Apply for NEET UG 2025 is 7 March!
NEW DELHI: The NEET UG 2025 application is closing down soon, and the deadline for application has been fixed as March 7. Medical students wishing to pursue studies have to apply before the deadline since the National Testing Agency (NTA) has not released any extension. More than 23 lakh students have already applied, and this is the last chance to get a chance to sit for the exam, which will be conducted on May 4 in pen-and-paper format.
The exam is scheduled for May 4 and will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode for admissions into MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other medical programs. With only a few days left, aspiring medical students must complete their registration before the deadline. The NTA has not announced any extension, making this the final opportunity for candidates to apply. Over 23 lakh students have already submitted their applications; no further extensions are expected.
Eligibility and Exam Details
Candidates must be at least 17 years old and have passed Class 12 to be eligible for NEET UG 2025. The examination will consist of 180 compulsory questions, with 45 questions each in Physics and Chemistry, and 90 questions in Biology. New Rules for NEET UG 2025
Following concerns over irregularities in last year’s examination, the NTA has introduced several changes to enhance fairness and security. Key updates include:
- Biometric verification at exam centres to prevent malpractice.
- A revised tie-breaking system for ranking candidates.
- Exam centres open three hours before the scheduled start time.
- Mandatory submission of at least six passport-size photographs by candidates.
With the registration deadline fast approaching, candidates should ensure they complete the process before March 7 to secure their chance to appear for NEET UG 2025.
