NEET UG 2025: NTA Restricts Exam Centres to Government Colleges to Prevent Paper Leaks
NEET UG 2025 Exam Update: To prevent incidents like last year’s NEET paper leak in Jharkhand, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has mandated the use of only government colleges as exam centres for NEET UG 2025, scheduled for May 4. District officials are actively identifying new centres while ensuring compliance with this directive by avoiding institutes used in the previous year.

On Friday, Nalgonda Collector Ila Tripathi along with officials from other departments, inspected Mahatma Gandhi University to establish a NEET exam centre.
"Following government guidelines, we are setting up NEET centres only at government institutions. We inspected the university campus for this purpose " Tripathi stated.
Authorities traced last year’s NEET question paper leak to Oasis School, a private institution in Jharkhand’s Hazaribagh district. Law enforcement arrested the school's principal and vice-principal in connection with the case.
Every year, approximately 24 lakh students take NEET, aspiring for medical seats. NEET UG 2025 will be conducted in 552 cities across India and 14 international locations, including over 20 cities in Telangana.
