NEET UG 2025: Photo Size, Thumb Impression Format, and Document Upload Guidelines

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the NEET UG 2025 notification. The application process will commence on 7 February 2025 and conclude on 7 March 2025. The NEET UG 2025 examination is scheduled for 4 May 2025. Candidates can submit their applications via the official website: neet.nta.nic.in.

Application Process:
Candidates must log in using the system-generated Application Number and a pre-created Password to complete the application form. The form requires the following information:

  1. Personal Details: Complete personal information.

    Study MBBS Abroad 2025-26, Fees 2 lakh Per Year.

  2. Examination Preferences: Selection of question paper medium and preferred examination cities.

  3. Educational Qualifications: Details of academic background.

  4. Document Uploads:

    • Recent passport-size photograph (taken after 1 January 2025)

    • Signature

    • Left and right-hand fingers and thumb impressions

    • Citizenship certificate (if applicable)

    • Social category certificate (if applicable)

    • Class X mark sheet and passing certificate or equivalency certificate (for CGPA/grades conversion and date of birth verification)

    • PwBD/PwD certificate (if applicable)

Document Upload Guidelines:
Ensure all images are clear, legible, and in PDF/JPG/JPEG format. The specific requirements include:

  • Passport-size photograph: 10 kb to 200 kb

  • Postcard-size photograph: 10 kb to 200 kb

  • Finger and thumb impressions: 10 kb to 200 kb

  • Signature: 10 kb to 50 kb

  • Category certificate: 50 kb to 300 kb

  • Class X certificate: 50 kb to 300 kb

  • Address proof: 50 kb to 300 kb

  • NRI/OCI/Foreigner certificate: 50 kb to 300 kb

  • PwD/PwBD certificate/UDID card: 50 kb to 300 kb (both sides in the same PDF)

  • Medical certificates (5 or 2 doctor bench): 50 kb to 300 kb

  • Scribe-related documents (if applicable):

    • Photograph: 10 kb to 200 kb

    • Signature: 10 kb to 50 kb

    • Qualification certificate: 50 kb to 300 kb

    • Undertaking for using own scribe: 50 kb to 300 kb

  • Identity proof (if applicable): 10 kb to 200 kb

  • Certificate of physical limitation (if applicable): 50 kb to 300 kb

Important Instructions:

  • Ensure the recent photograph is in color, with 80% of the face visible (without a mask), including ears, against a white background.

  • Verify the clarity of the uploaded photograph and signature before submitting the application. Applications with blurred or unclear images will be rejected without any provision for correction or revision.
