National Medical Commission (NMC) has extended the deadline for submission of the Annual Disclosure Report (ADR) by existing medical colleges seeking annual renewal of MBBS seats for the Academic Year (AY) 2026-27.

According to a public notice issued by the Undergraduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) on May 30, 2026, the last date for submitting the Annual Declaration through the NMC portal has been extended from May 31, 2026, to June 10, 2026. The decision was taken after several medical colleges reported technical issues and requested additional time to complete the submission process.

The NMC clarified that this extension is being provided as a final opportunity, and no further extension will be granted under any circumstances.

The Annual Disclosure Report is a mandatory requirement under the Maintenance of Standards of Medical Education Regulations (MSMER), 2023. Submission of accurate institutional data on the NMC portal is essential for processing applications related to the annual renewal of MBBS seats for the upcoming academic session.

In a communication addressed to all medical colleges and institutions under NMC, Secretary Dr. Raghav Langer advised stakeholders to take note of the revised timeline and ensure timely compliance.

The Commission has also informed institutions that all other conditions and requirements related to the submission process remain unchanged. Colleges facing technical difficulties may contact the UGMEB Helpdesk for assistance.

Medical colleges are encouraged to complete the submission process well before the revised deadline to avoid any last-minute issues.
