The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a public notice regarding the online application for the Eligibility Certificate for candidates seeking to appear in the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE).

As per the notice, the FMGE Screening Test may be conducted in the coming months by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). Candidates are required to possess an Eligibility Certificate issued by the NMC to apply for the screening test, subject to the prescribed requirements.

Candidates who have not yet obtained an Eligibility Certificate can submit their applications through the NMC online portal.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates are required to submit their applications online through the NMC registration portal. Applicants should carefully check all required entries and provide the necessary details before submitting the application.

Candidates can also make enquiries regarding the status of their Eligibility Certificate application through the email addresses mentioned in the NMC notice. While making enquiries, applicants must provide the File Tracking Number generated during the application process.

Candidates Who Already Applied Need Not Apply Again

NMC has clarified that candidates who have already submitted an application for issuance of the Eligibility Certificate in the past do not need to apply again.

Candidates who are applying during the newly announced window are advised to complete the process carefully and within the prescribed deadline.
