NTA opens scribe registration portal for PwD/PwBD candidates
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched a dedicated online portal for PwD (Persons with Disabilities) and PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) candidates to register their scribe details ahead of the NEET (UG) 2026 examination, scheduled for 21 June 2026.
The portal went live on 09 June 2026 and will remain open until 12 June 2026 (11:50 PM). Eligible candidates are urged to complete the process within this window to avail the scribe facility during the examination.

How to register scribe details
1 Visit the NTA official website at neet.nta.nic.in and log in with your credentials.
2 Click on the 'Register Scribe Details' button on your candidate home page (visible only to eligible PwD/PwBD candidates).
3 Choose the scribe option and submit the required details as applicable.
4 Once submitted, details will be reflected in the 'View Application Form' link and on the confirmation page.
Important: Only candidates who are eligible to avail the scribe facility will see the registration button. Candidates are advised to complete registration well before the 12 June deadline.
