NTA Releases JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Answer Key; Challenge Window Open
New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the answer key and response sheet for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session 1. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now download the JEE Main 2025 answer key from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The examination for Session 1 was conducted from January 22 to January 30, 2025.
To access the response sheet and answer key, candidates must log in using their registration number and password or date of birth. The answer key provides a reference for candidates to evaluate their performance and estimate their scores.
Challenge Process for JEE Main 2025 Answer Key
Candidates who are not satisfied with the provisional answer key have the option to raise objections through the official website. According to the official information bulletin, a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 per question must be paid for each challenge.
The NTA is expected to announce the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 results by February 12.
Steps to Challenge JEE Main 2025 Answer Key
Candidates can follow the steps below to challenge the provisional answer key:

Visit the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Click on the link for “Challenges Regarding JEE Main Answer Key 2025.”

Enter the required login details and submit.

The answer key will display the question ID along with the correct option ID for both Paper 1 and Paper 2.

To challenge a question, select the relevant question ID(s), click on ‘Save your claim,’ and proceed to the next step.

The selected question ID(s) will appear on the screen.

Upload supporting documents in PDF format by clicking on the ‘Choose file’ button.

Pay a processing fee of Rs 200 per challenged question.

Take a printout of the challenged questions for future reference.
JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Registration Open
The NTA has also commenced the registration process for JEE Main 2025 Session 2. The examination is tentatively scheduled to be held from April 1 to April 8, 2025. Eligible candidates can register for the second session by February 25 through the official website.
