The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a last-minute change of examination venue for candidates scheduled to appear at the Harivansh Rai Bachchan Cultural Centre, University of Allahabad, for NEET (UG) 2026, which is set to be held on June 21.

What Changed

According to a public notice issued by the NTA on June 18, the exam will now be conducted at the Department of Medieval and Modern History, Senate House Campus, University of Allahabad, Prayagraj — 211002, instead of the originally designated centre.

Why the Change

The NTA said the District Administration informed it that ongoing construction work and non-availability of electricity at the original venue made it unsuitable for conducting the exam. The decision to relocate was made based on recommendations from the District Level Committee and the District Administration.
