Odisha NEET UG 2026: PwBD Assessment Notice for 85% State Quota
The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Committee has released an important notice for Physically Challenged (PC)/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates seeking admission under the 85% State Quota MBBS/BDS counselling for NEET UG 2026. State domicile candidates who wish to claim seats under the PwBD category must appear before the Medical Assessment Board at LT-II, SCB Medical College, Cuttack, to obtain the mandatory eligibility certificate as per the NMC PwBD Guidelines 2026.
Candidates are required to carry their NEET UG 2026 scorecard, Permanent UDID Card, a self-certified functional ability affidavit, and the prescribed disability-specific affidavits during the assessment. The eligibility certificate will be issued only after verification by the Medical Assessment Board. Only candidates recommended by the Board will be allowed to participate in PwBD seat allotment.
OJEE has also warned that submission of a fake UDID card or affidavit will lead to cancellation of the allotted seat and legal action. Candidates who fail to appear before the Medical Assessment Board will not be considered under the PwBD category for Odisha NEET UG 2026 counselling. The detailed assessment schedule will be announced separately on the OJEE website.
