Odisha NEET UG 2026 PwBD Medical Board Schedule for Round 2 Released

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) has issued an important notice for candidates seeking to participate in the 85% State Quota MBBS/BDS Round 2 counselling and admission process under the Physically Challenged (PC)/Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) category.

According to the notice dated September 3, 2026, all registered PwBD candidates who wish to participate in the OJEE web-based counselling for MBBS/BDS Round 2 must appear before the State Medical Board at SCB Medical College & Hospital, Cuttack, on September 8, 2026, at 9:30 AM. Candidates are required to bring all documents mentioned in the previous OJEE notice dated August 4, 2026.

PwBD Medical Assessment Mandatory

OJEE has stated that the PwBD evaluation by the Medical Assessment Board is mandatory for all registered candidates under the PwBD category. The assessment is being conducted to ensure uniformity in determining PwBD status for admission to 85% State Quota MBBS/BDS seats in Odisha.

Study MBBS Abroad 2025-26, Fees 2 lakh Per Year.

The decision of the Medical Board will be final and binding and admission under the PC/PwBD category will be granted only according to the Board's recommendations. Candidates who fail to attend the Medical Board will not be considered under the PC/PwBD category under any circumstances.

Candidates who were not qualified under the PwBD category in NEET UG 2026 are not eligible to register under State Quota counselling and therefore do not need to attend the Medical Assessment Board.
