The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) has released the schedule and instructions for provisional admission to MBBS/BDS courses under Round 1 counselling for the academic session 2026-27. The notice was issued on August 25, 2026.

Candidates who have been allotted seats in Round 1 must personally report to the OJEE Office at Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar, on the date and time assigned to their allotted college. They must carry their original certificates, mark sheets and other required documents along with photocopies.

The reporting process will be conducted from August 28 to September 3, 2026, covering allotted MBBS and BDS candidates across government and private institutions. NRI quota candidates have been given a separate reporting slot on September 1, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Important Instructions for Candidates

• Candidates must choose Freeze or Float through their login ID.
• Admission fees can be paid online or through a demand draft in favour of “OJEE”, payable at Bhubaneswar.
• Candidates must bring original certificates, mark sheets, affidavit and other required documents along with photocopies.
• Candidates selecting Freeze must bring the required bond.
• After payment of prescribed fees and submission of the required original documents, candidates will receive a provisional admission letter from OJEE.
• Candidates should not report directly to their allotted college at this stage and must wait until the counselling and admission process is completed.
• Candidates who fail to follow the reporting requirements will be treated as non-reported, and their allotted seat may be cancelled. Such candidates may participate in Round 2 by filling fresh choices.

Odisha NEET UG 2026 Admission Fees

For government medical and dental colleges, the fee to be deposited is Rs. 37,950 per annum, with additional institutional fees potentially applicable.

For private institutions, the annual MBBS fees listed in the notice include Rs. 11.56 lakh at Hi-Tech MCH Bhubaneswar, Rs. 8.54 lakh at Hi-Tech MCH Rourkela and Rs. 9.08 lakh at DRIEMS Institute of Health Sciences. The annual fee for Hi-Tech Dental College, Bhubaneswar is Rs. 3 lakh. NRI candidates are required to pay four times the applicable private-college fee.
