Puducherry Adds 3 Candidates to JIPMER Quota List for NEET UG 2026
The Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Services, Government of Puducherry, has issued an addendum adding three candidates to the list of Puducherry domicile students eligible for the JIPMER Puducherry Domicile Internal Quota for the NEET UG 2026–27 admission session.
The notice, issued on August 10, 2026, has been sent to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), New Delhi, for necessary action. The department has requested that the names of the three candidates be incorporated into the relevant NTA database, enabling them to register and participate in MCC NEET UG 2026 counselling for MBBS seats under the JIPMER Puducherry Domicile Internal Quota.
Three Candidates Added
According to Annexure III of the addendum, the following candidates have been included in the updated list:

The addition follows the NEET UG 2026 merit list released by the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Services, Puducherry, on July 31, 2026. The department noted that these candidates were not included in the earlier NTA-provided list after filtering candidates based on Puducherry as their permanent state.

The inclusion of these candidates is significant as their names need to be reflected in the relevant database for them to participate in MCC's All India counselling process for MBBS admission under the JIPMER Puducherry Domicile Internal Quota.
