BFUHS has opened the Punjab NEET UG 2026 Round 1 MBBS/BDS seat surrender facility. Eligible candidates can surrender seats till September 15, 6 PM without security deposit forfeiture.
Punjab NEET UG Round 1 Seat Surrender Facility Opens Last Date September 15
The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot has opened the seat surrender facility for Round 1 candidates of Punjab NEET UG Counselling 2026 for MBBS and BDS admissions. The public notice was issued on September 14, 2026.
The facility is available to candidates who joined their Round 1 allotted seat and whose seat was retained in Round 2 due to non-upgradation, but who now wish to surrender that seat.
Eligible candidates can surrender their Round 1 seat by physically reporting to their joined college up to 6:00 PM on September 15, 2026. Seat surrender completed within this deadline will be allowed without forfeiture of the security deposit.

Candidates who want to surrender their seat must personally visit the allotted college and submit a written request to the Principal. The concerned college will then process the seat surrender request.
BFUHS has also clarified that once a seat surrender request is submitted, it cannot be reversed. Candidates are therefore advised to carefully consider the consequences before submitting their request.
Any surrender submitted after 6:00 PM on September 15, 2026 will be governed by the applicable counselling rules and may lead to forfeiture of the security deposit.
