Punjab NEET UG Round 2 Counselling Schedule Released

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, has released the draft schedule for Round 2 of online counselling for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under NEET UG 2026 for the 2026 session. The schedule, dated September 3, 2026, outlines registration, willingness submission, merit list publication, choice filling, seat allotment and reporting dates.

The university has stated that candidates already registered in the counselling process do not need to register again, but they must submit their willingness to participate in Round 2. Candidates must also submit fresh choices/preferences, as choices submitted during Round 1 will be treated as null and void.

Who Can Participate in Round 2?

Eligible candidates include those who were not allotted a seat in Round 1, candidates whose Round 1 seats were cancelled during document verification, candidates who reported and opted for upgradation, candidates who were allotted a seat but did not join, and candidates who resigned from their Round 1 seat online within the prescribed timeframe.

Candidates who have become ineligible due to inadequate documents or those who have not registered in either Round 1 or Round 2 will not be eligible for Round 2 seat allotment.

Fee and Security Deposit

For fresh applicants, the application fee is ₹5,000 + ₹900 GST for General candidates and ₹2,500 + ₹450 GST for SC/BC candidates. The security fee is ₹10,000 for government colleges and ₹2,00,000 for private colleges/private universities, subject to the applicable category and counselling rules.

Candidates allotted seats in Round 2 must pay the applicable balance fee and report to their allotted college between September 16 and 18, 2026, completing all admission and joining formalities within the prescribed deadline.

Candidates are advised to carefully check the official BFUHS counselling portal and follow all instructions regarding registration, willingness, choice filling, fee payment, and reporting.
