What Happens If a Candidate Provides Wrong Information

Any allotment made on the basis of wrong information in the application form, such as domicile or caste category, will be cancelled if the candidate cannot produce the relevant original documents. The documents are checked during document verification at the allotted college desk at the time of joining.

Such candidates will face three consequences:

• Their allotment will be cancelled.
• Their security deposit will be forfeited.
• They will be debarred from taking part in the stray vacancy round.

How to Correct Application Form Details

The board has told all applicants to submit correct information in the application form. Candidates have two ways to correct it:

• Use the edit option on the counselling portal.
• Send an application or email for correction in Part-1 of the application form, along with an ID proof, the NEET score card and the relevant documents listed in the Round 3 notification dated 19 September 2026.

Deadline for Change, Edit or Correction

The counselling board will not consider any application for change, edit or correction after the deadline of 3 October 2026. Candidates are solely responsible for any wrong information in their application form.
