The Re-NEET UG 2026 result is expected to be announced by July 20, 2026, bringing relief to lakhs of medical aspirants awaiting the next stage of the admission process. Although the National Testing Agency (NTA) has not officially confirmed the result date, officials have indicated that the agency is working to declare the results as early as possible to ensure the MBBS admission schedule remains on track.

The provisional answer key was released on June 25, while the objection window closed on June 28. NTA is currently reviewing the challenges submitted by candidates and is expected to release the final answer key either shortly before or along with the result.

Meanwhile, the OMR response sheets are being digitized and will be uploaded on the official portal soon. Once available, candidates can log in using their application number and password to download their scanned OMR sheets and verify their responses before the final result is declared.

How to Download the OMR Response Sheet

• Visit the official NEET website.
• Log in using your Application Number and Password or Date of Birth.
• Open the OMR Response Sheet link.
• Download the scanned OMR sheet and compare it with the final answer key.

After the result is announced, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will begin the counselling process for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, while respective states will conduct counselling for 85% state quota seats. The counselling process will include multiple rounds, including Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up and Stray Vacancy rounds.
