The Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences (SMIMS) has issued an important notice for MBBS Session 2026 applicants, announcing that the last date to submit applications and complete all pending formalities has been extended to 10 August 2026 (5:00 PM). Candidates must ensure that all required information and documents are uploaded before the deadline to be considered for the merit list.

According to the notification, applicants who have not yet uploaded their latest NEET UG 2026 scorecard and other mandatory documents must do so by 10 August 2026 (5:00 PM). Similarly, candidates who have not entered their NEET score and NEET rank in the application form are required to update these details before the deadline. Applications with incomplete information will not be included in the merit list.

SMIMS has also clarified that no new applications or corrections to submitted applications will be accepted after 10 August 2026 (5:00 PM). The institute further informed candidates that the MBBS counselling process will be conducted online, and the counselling schedule will be announced separately on the official SMU website.

Additionally, the institute has advised candidates to stay away from unauthorized agents or consultants, emphasizing that admissions are conducted only through the official individual login portal.
