Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences (SMIMS), Sikkim Manipal University, has issued a notice on the last date of MDMS online application for 2026-27. The notice is dated 08 October 2026.

Key dates and instructions

• The last date of receipt of application and rectification of application, for candidates who have already registered, is 25 October 2026 (mid-night)
• Candidates who have not uploaded their NEET score card, admit card and other required documents must do so by 25 October 2026 (mid-night). Applications without these documents will not be included in the merit list
• Candidates who have not filled in their NEET score and NEET rank details in the application form must do so by 25 October 2026 (mid-night), in addition to uploading the score card. Otherwise the application will not be included in the merit list
• Applications and rectification of applications will not be accepted after 25 October 2026 (mid-night) for the first round

Counselling

• Counselling dates will be announced soon
• Counselling will be conducted online
• Candidates should check the SMU/SMIMS notice board regularly for the counselling schedule: https://smu.edu.in/smu-notice-board.php

No agents or consultants

• SMIMS does not deal with any agent, consultant or third party for admission
• Admission is only through the individual login portal of SMIMS

Caution against fake admission offers

• SMIMS has warned that an imposter is admitting students to MD and MBBS courses at SMIMS, Gangtok, by issuing fictitious call letters and taking huge sums of money
• The institute is not responsible for any such admission
• No one from SMIMS, including the Dean, will call applicants offering medical UG/PG seats
• dean@smims.smu.edu.in is the only official email address of the Dean of SMIMS. Candidates who receive communication from any other email address should report it to that address
