New Delhi: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tamil Nadu, has officially started the NEET UG 2025 counselling registration for MBBS and BDS courses. Eligible candidates can now register online through the official website- tnmedicalselection.net. Along with the registration, DME has also released the official prospectus detailing the eligibility criteria, reservation policy, seat matrix, and important dates.

Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2025 Counselling: Application Fee, Security Deposit Details Released

Candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS courses through Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2025 counselling can apply by paying a non-refundable application fee of ₹500. However, candidates belonging to SC, SCA, and ST categories are exempted from paying this fee.

In addition to the application fee, candidates must also submit a security deposit as follows:

• ₹30,000 for seats under the Government Quota

• ₹1,00,000 (₹1 lakh) for seats under the Management Quota

It is important to note that only those candidates who are included in the merit list published by the Tamil Nadu Medical Selection Committee will be allowed to proceed with registration and choice locking during the counselling process.
