The Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education & Research (DME&R), Tamil Nadu, has extended the deadline for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates to obtain and upload their PwBD Eligibility Certificate for the NEET UG 2026 admission process.

As per Notification No. 014/SCS1(1)/2026 dated August 8, 2026, eligible PwBD candidates can obtain their certificate from the designated Medical Assessment Boards at:

• Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital, Chennai
• Thanjavur Medical College and Hospital, Thanjavur
• Madurai Medical College and Hospital, Madurai
• Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital, Coimbatore

Candidates must upload the eligibility certificate on the designated portal on or before August 11, 2026, by 5:00 PM.

Candidates belonging to the PwBD category are advised to complete the medical assessment and certificate-upload process within the extended deadline to avoid any issues during counselling and admission.
