The Selection Committee under the Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Tamil Nadu, has issued an important notification for students preparing for UG Medical and Dental Admissions 2026–27.

With the counselling process expected to begin soon, candidates have been strongly advised to keep all necessary documents ready in advance to avoid last-minute delays.

Documents Mandatory for All Candidates

Study MBBS Abroad 2025-26, Fees 2 lakh Per Year.

As per the notification, students must arrange the following documents:

  • NEET UG 2026 Admit Card
  • Class 10, 11, and 12 Mark Sheets
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Study Proof Certificate (for certain candidates)
  • Community and Nativity Certificates (if applicable)
  • Parent’s Community Certificate (for reservation claims)
  • Income Certificate (for fee concession)
  • Eligibility Certificate (for candidates from non-recognized boards)

 Special Categories: Additional Requirements

Candidates applying under specific quotas must submit extra documents:

Management Quota (Minority Status):

  • Linguistic Minority Certificate
  • Religious Minority Certificate

NRI Quota:

  • NRI status proof issued by the Indian Embassy or OCI Card
  • Relationship certificate with financial sponsor
  • NRE Bank Account details of sponsor

7.5% Government School Quota:

  • Bonafide Certificate (for students before 2022–23 batch)
  • Recent students will be verified through the EMIS Portal
