Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Telangana has issued an important notice regarding BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and BNYS admissions under Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2026–27.

As per the notice dated September 17, 2026, permission to conduct the BUMS course at Government Nizamia Tibbi College, Hyderabad has been denied by the Medical Assessment and Rating Board for Indian System of Medicine (MARBISM), NCISM, through its reference dated September 8, 2026.

Accordingly, the BUMS course options for Government Nizamia Tibbi College, Hyderabad will not be enabled for selection at present during the counselling process.

The university stated that these options will be enabled only after receipt of the requisite permission from MARBISM, subject to applicable rules and regulations.
