The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Telangana, has issued a notification for exercising web-options for the Second Phase of Counselling for admission into MBBS/BDS courses under Management Quota (B & C/NRI Category) for the Academic Year 2026-27. The counselling covers affiliated Private Medical/Dental Colleges, Army College of Dental Sciences, and Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences (affiliated to Anurag University).

Web-Option Schedule

Eligible candidates whose names appear in the final merit list of MBBS/BDS Admissions under Management Quota (published on the KNRUHS website on 09.09.2026, including subsequent addendums and corrigendums) can exercise web options as follows:

• Web-option window: 2:00 PM on 22.09.2026 to 2:00 PM on 24.09.2026

Who Is Eligible

1. Candidates who were not allotted seats in the first phase, or whose allotted seats were not reported/discontinued, are not eligible to exercise fresh web-options in this phase.
2. Candidates who did not exercise web-options in the first phase are not eligible for this phase.
3. Candidates who were allotted MBBS/BDS seats in the first phase, joined, and are continuing the course are eligible to exercise web-options for sliding.

University Fee Structure

(Tuition fee is payable separately at respective colleges, as per Telangana Government orders. Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences charges ₹16,50,000/annum for B Category and ₹24,75,000/annum for C/NRI category.)

The seat matrix for Second Phase Counselling includes vacant CAT-B (Local/UR) and CAT-C/NRI seats across 28 medical colleges and 11 dental colleges. Some notable vacancy numbers:

List of Not-Reported Candidates (First Phase)

KNRUHS has also released a list of 627 candidates who did not report after being allotted seats in the First Phase of Counselling, spanning both CAT-B and NRI category allotments across various medical and dental colleges. As per the rules, these candidates are not eligible to participate in the Second Phase web-options process.

Important Instructions for Candidates

• No limit on the number of choices while exercising web-options.
• Candidates are advised to opt for all colleges of interest, irrespective of current vacancy numbers, as seats may open up due to sliding.
• If a candidate is allotted a seat via sliding in this phase, their first-phase seat will be automatically cancelled.
• A one-time password (6-letter alphabetic code) will be sent to the registered mobile number for exercising options.
• Selected candidates must report to the respective college Principal, submit original documents, and pay the tuition fee before the specified deadline, failing which admission will be cancelled automatically.
• Discontinuing the course after joining attracts a penalty of ₹20 lakhs, as per government orders.
