The Tripura Medical Counselling Committee (TRMCC), Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Tripura, has released the schedule for the Special Stray Vacancy Round of Tripura Undergraduate Medical Counselling 2026. The educational notification (Ref. No. F.5(6)-DME/NEET/UGCounselling/2026/6329) is dated 03rd November 2026.

The round will be held on the online counselling portal https://trmcc.admissions.nic.in. It will fill the vacant seats remaining after the Stray Vacancy Round. The special stray vacancy round starts from 04th November 2026.

Schedule of Special Stray Vacancy Round (as per server time)

Registration, payment, online verification and choice filling:

• Fresh registration, payment and final submission after registration unlocking: 04-11-2026 (2 PM) to 09-11-2026 (12 Noon)
• Registration unlocking: 04-11-2026 (2 PM) to 09-11-2026 (8 AM)
• Remove discrepancy: up to 09-11-2026 (2 PM)
• Choice filling: 05-11-2026 (3 PM) to 09-11-2026 (5 PM)

Both the registration fee and the security deposit must be paid during this stage. The Verification Committee will do the online verification.

After choice filling:

• Allotment result: 10-11-2026
• Collection of nomination letters from the Office of the Director of Medical Education, Government of Tripura: 11-11-2026 to 16-11-2026
• Physical verification of original documents and admission formalities at the allotted institutions: 11-11-2026 to 16-11-2026
• Last date of joining: 16-11-2026

Who Can Participate

• Eligible candidates can do fresh registration and online choice filling for this round.
• Candidates who registered in previous rounds but were not allotted any seat can also take part.

Who Cannot Participate

• Candidates already admitted in previous rounds of counselling.
• Candidates allotted a seat in Round 3 or the Stray Vacancy Round.

Important Information for Candidates

• There will be no upgradation of seats for candidates already admitted in earlier rounds.
• All participating candidates must fill and submit their choices online through their accounts on the counselling portal within the schedule. They should check their choices carefully before final submission.
• The registration fee and security deposit remain as prescribed in the applicable Information Bulletin and earlier TRMCC notifications.
• Seats will be allotted on the basis of NEET UG 2026 merit, eligibility, reservation policy, choices exercised by candidates and availability of seats.
• Allotted candidates must collect their nomination letters from the Office of the Director of Medical Education, Government of Tripura. They must then report to the allotted institution for physical verification of original documents and completion of admission formalities within the schedule.
• Candidates who fail to join the allotted institution within the stipulated period will forfeit the security deposit.
