The Tripura Medical Counselling Committee (TRMCC), under the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Tripura, has released the schedule and notification for Round 3 of Tripura Undergraduate Medical Counselling 2026. Round 3 covers Tripura State Quota/Domicile seats and All India candidates other than Tripura, and begins on 30 September 2026. The notification is dated 29 September 2026 and signed by the Director of Medical Education, Government of Tripura.

Fresh Registration Open for New Candidates
All eligible candidates who did not register in earlier rounds can register afresh for Round 3. Newly registered candidates must pay the prescribed Registration Fee and Security Deposit, which are mandatory for participation. They must upload their NEET-UG 2026 Score Card, Admit Card, Age Proof Certificate and other relevant documents during online registration.
Eligibility and qualification will follow the Information Bulletin of Tripura Undergraduate Medical Counselling 2026 and the guidelines issued by NTA, MCC, NMC, MoHFW, the Ministry of AYUSH and the respective institutions, as applicable.
Important Instructions for Round 3 Candidates
- Round 2 non-joiners: Candidates who were allotted seats in Round 2 but did not take admission forfeit their Security Deposit. They must pay both the Registration Fee and Security Deposit afresh for Round 3.
- Fill all choices: Candidates should fill their desired choices even if seats in their category are not currently shown as available, since vacancies may arise from upgradation or other permissible reasons during counselling.
- Upgradation: Candidates already admitted in an earlier round can fill additional choices for upgradation. They cannot remove their presently allotted or admitted institution from the counselling process.
- Seat retention: If a candidate is not allotted a new seat in Round 3, the seat from Round 1 or Round 2 is retained. If the candidate is upgraded in Round 3, the earlier seat is automatically cancelled and becomes available to another candidate, with no claim over it afterwards.
- Not joining: A candidate allotted a seat in Round 3 who does not join is liable for exit with forfeiture of the Security Deposit and elimination from further rounds, as per the counselling rules.
- No resignation after joining: A candidate admitted against a Round 3 seat cannot upgrade or resign from it, subject to counselling guidelines. Candidates retaining a Round 1 or Round 2 seat but not allotted a Round 3 seat also cannot resign from the retained seat.
- Institution websites: Candidates should regularly check the website of their allotted institution for details on physical verification, admission formalities, fees and documents.
- Read the guidelines: Candidates should go through all previous notifications, the Information Bulletin, guidelines, counselling steps and flow charts before participating.
