The National Testing Agency has released an important public notice regarding the application process for the UGC-NET June 2026 examination. As per the advisory, the registration portal will close on 20 May 2026 at 11:50 PM.

Candidates who have not yet completed their application process are advised to:

• Fill and submit the online application form
• Pay the prescribed examination fee
• Download and save the confirmation page for future reference

The agency has also instructed applicants to carefully verify all details before final submission. No correction facility will be provided later. 

 Key fields including:

• Candidate Name
• Parent's Name
• Social Category
• PwD Status
• Difficulty in Writing Status
• Scribe Requirement Status
• Subject Opted
• Exam City Preferences

NTA further clarified that only candidates who successfully complete the fee payment will be considered registered for the examination.
