UP AYUSH UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 Schedule Released: Candidates can now check the complete Round 1 counselling schedule and important dates for AYUSH UG admissions.
The UP AYUSH UG Counselling Board 2026 has released the schedule for the first round of online counselling. It covers admission to BAMS, BUMS and BHMS courses for the 2026-27 session. The notice is dated September 30, 2026. It applies to government and private Ayurvedic, Unani and Homoeopathic medical colleges, private universities and minority institutions in Uttar Pradesh. Registration starts on October 6, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must be NEET UG 2026 qualified and registered on the official counselling website.
- The candidate must have passed Intermediate or an equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology.
- The candidate must have completed 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2026. There is no upper age limit.
- Minimum NEET UG 2026 percentile:
- Unreserved/EWS: 50th percentile
- SC/ST/OBC: 40th percentile
- Unreserved PwD: 45th percentile
- Reserved category PwD: 40th percentile
- For government colleges, candidates who passed both high school and Intermediate from Uttar Pradesh do not need a domicile certificate. Others need a UP domicile certificate.
- For private colleges, UP domicile is not mandatory. Candidates from other states can take part.
- Candidates declared ineligible by AACCC-2026 cannot take part in counselling.
Fees and Security Money
- Registration fee: Rs 2,000 for the first, second and third rounds. The fee is non-refundable.
- Stray vacancy round: Rs 1,000 for candidates registered earlier who got no seat. Rs 2,000 for candidates who have not registered before.
- Security money for government colleges: Rs 20,000
- Security money for private colleges: Rs 50,000
- Security money for both government and private colleges: Rs 50,000
- Candidates become eligible for choice filling only after paying the security money.
- The security money is refunded to the same bank account it was paid from, after all counselling rounds end.
- The security money is forfeited if a candidate does not take admission after physical verification.
Seat Distribution
- In government colleges, 15% of the seats go to the All India quota, filled through AACCC counselling. The remaining seats are UP State Quota seats.
- In private colleges, 100% of the seats are filled through UP counselling: 15% All India quota and 85% State quota.
- Seats left unfilled in the 15% All India quota after the third round are added to the 85% State quota seats.
Reservation in Government Colleges
- Vertical reservation: SC 21%, ST 2%, OBC 27%, EWS 10%
- Horizontal reservation:
- Dependants of freedom fighters: 2%
- Children of ex-servicemen: 2%
- Persons with disabilities: 5%
- Women: 20%
- NCC cadets: 1%
- OBC (non-creamy layer) and EWS certificates must be issued on or after April 1, 2026.
- Reservation certificates must be in the format prescribed by the UP government. Certificates issued by other states or the Centre are not valid for State Quota seats.
- Private college seats are unreserved.

- Aadhaar authentication, or an alternative photo ID if Aadhaar is not available
- Physical verification (originals plus one self-attested photocopy of each):
- NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard
- High school and Intermediate marksheets and certificates
- Domicile or residence certificate
- Reservation, disability and NCC certificates, if applicable
- One passport-size photograph (the same one used in the NEET UG 2026 application)
- Photo ID
- Printouts of the online registration and security money payment
Important Instructions for Candidates
- Register with your own mobile number and email ID, because OTPs and updates are sent there.
- Pay the security money from your own or your parents' bank account. Avoid cyber cafes and agents, as the candidate is responsible for any refund problem.
- Locking choices is mandatory. A seat will not be allotted if choices are not locked.
- Only candidates who have been allotted a provisional seat can complete admission.
- Disability certificates are valid only if issued by the centres prescribed by the Ministry of AYUSH for the 2026-27 session.
- Candidates admitted in the first or second round who want to take part in the next round need a no-objection certificate from the college. This facility is not available for the third and stray vacancy rounds.
Counselling Rounds
- Counselling will be held in four rounds: first, second, third and stray vacancy.
- Candidates not allotted a seat in the first round can take part in the second round without paying the security money again.
- Seats may be added later if the AYUSH commission changes the last date of admission.
