The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh, has released important instructions for candidates participating in the first round of UP NEET UG 2026 online counselling. All eligible NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates must complete the online registration process through the official counselling portal.

Candidates are required to register using their own mobile number and email ID, as all counselling-related communication will be sent to the registered contact details. A non-refundable registration fee of ₹2,000 must be paid during the registration process.

Applicants must also select a nodal verification centre for online document verification and upload the required documents, including Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, reservation certificates (if applicable) and domicile certificate (if applicable).

To participate in the choice filling process, candidates must deposit the required security money:

• ₹30,000 for Government Medical/Dental Colleges
• ₹2,00,000 for Private Medical Colleges
• ₹1,00,000 for Private Dental Colleges

Candidates who do not deposit the required security amount will not be eligible for choice filling in the counselling process.
