UP NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Registration Deadline Extended
The Director General Medical Education & Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh, has announced a re-extended schedule for Round 1 of UP NEET UG 2026 online counselling for admission to State Quota MBBS and BDS seats in government and private medical and dental colleges and universities across Uttar Pradesh.
The revised notification, issued on September 1, 2026, provides additional time for candidates to complete the registration process, upload documents and deposit the required registration fee and security money.

Candidates participating in the UP NEET UG 2026 State Quota counselling must complete registration, document uploading, and payment of the applicable fees within the revised deadlines to be considered for the Round 1 merit list.
1% Horizontal Reservation for NCC Cadets
The notification also clarifies the 1% horizontal reservation for NCC cadets under the UP NEET UG 2026 admission policy.
Eligible candidates include:

| ‘B’ Certificate | 1% |
Thus, eligible candidates holding an NCC ‘C’ certificate with at least ‘B’ grading or a ‘B’ certificate can claim the applicable 1% horizontal reservation during the counselling process.
