The Office of the Director General, Medical Education & Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, has released the time schedule for the stray vacancy round of online counselling for UP NEET UG 2026. The notice (No. ME-3/2026/1947) is dated 03 November 2026. It follows the time-table issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), New Delhi.

The round is for admission to state quota seats of UG courses (MBBS/BDS) in Government and Private Medical/Dental Colleges and Universities of Uttar Pradesh.

Stray Vacancy Round Schedule

• Online registration and uploading of documents: 05 November 2026 (from 11:00 AM) to 07 November 2026 (till 11:00 AM)
• Deposit of registration fee and security fee: 05 November 2026 (from 11:00 AM) to 07 November 2026 (till 2:00 PM)
• Declaration of merit list: 07 November 2026
• Online choice filling: 07 November 2026 (from 5:00 PM) to 12 November 2026 (till 11:00 AM)
• Declaration of seat allotment result: 12 November 2026
• Downloading of allotment letters and admission process: 13 November 2026 to 16 November 2026

Key Points for Candidates

• Document upload closes at 11:00 AM on 07 November, while fee payment stays open until 2:00 PM the same day.
• Choice filling opens after the merit list, at 5:00 PM on 07 November, and runs until 11:00 AM on 12 November.
• Admission must be completed between 13 and 16 November 2026.

Resignation Notice for Admitted Candidates (Rounds 1, 2 and 3)

DGME has also issued a separate notice (No. ME-3/2026/1949, dated 03 November 2026) on resignation of admitted seats.

• It applies to candidates who were allotted seats in the first, second or third round of UP NEET UG 2026 counselling for MBBS and BDS in government, autonomous and private medical/dental colleges, institutions and medical universities, and have already taken admission.
• The notice cites the policy Government Order No. 1/1448377/2026/71-4099/1011/2022 dated 01.09.2026 and the provisions of the brochure.
• Such candidates who wish to resign their admitted seat can do so by 05 November 2026, up to 5:00 PM.
• They must appear in person at the nodal centre linked to the admitted seat and submit the resignation.
