Security Deposit Refund Issue Notice Released

The Directorate General of Medical Education & Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh has released an important notice regarding non-refund of security deposits for certain candidates who participated in UP NEET UG 2025 counselling.

According to the notice dated May 26, 2026, refunds could not be processed for 60 candidates due to bank account freeze, account closure, chargeback issues, or other technical problems linked with ICICI Bank and SBI accounts.

The affected refund amounts include ₹30,000, ₹1,00,000, and ₹2,00,000 deposited during MBBS/BDS counselling registration.

DGME has instructed all listed candidates to immediately submit their updated bank account details along with a passbook copy or cancelled cheque to the official email ID: dgmesec3@gmail.com for refund processing.
