Uttarakhand Ayurved University (UAUC) has released the approved seat matrix for the UG 2026-27 counselling for BAMS courses across colleges in the state. The seat distribution has been finalized as per Uttarakhand Government Order No. 124/xxx(2)/2020-53(01)2001 dated 22 May 2020 and a subsequent order dated 18 September 2026, with the reservation roster continued from the UAUC-UG 2025 counselling.
Key Quota Norms
As per the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) directive dated 31 August 2026, referenced in the state Ayush Department's letter, the seat matrix for admission in Government/Government-aided and Private institutions follows a fixed 15% All-India Quota (AIQ) and 85% State/UT Quota split, as specified under NCISM regulations.

Category-wise Reservation (Applicable Across Colleges)
Each college's seats are further divided under UR, SC, OBC, ST and EWS categories, with sub-quotas for:
- Open
- Women
- Ex-Servicemen / Dependents of Ex-Servicemen
- PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities)
- Dependents of Freedom Fighters
- WKM (Widow/Kashmiri Migrant, university campuses only)
- Orphan
For example, at the Rishikul Campus (Haridwar), out of 75 total BAMS seats, 64 are under State Quota (including 1 WKM seat) and the remaining under the All-India Quota administered by AACCC (Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee) on behalf of the Ministry of AYUSH.
