The Uttarakhand NEET UG 2026 State Centralised Counselling Board has released the admission procedure for candidates allotted seats in Round 1, including detailed instructions for candidates who have selected the Freeze or Float option.

The notice, published on August 28, 2026, outlines the steps candidates must follow after seat allotment, including online document verification, advance tuition fee payment, confirmation of the allotted seat and reporting requirements.

Procedure for Freeze Candidates

Candidates who choose the Freeze option and confirm admission at their allotted college must complete the following steps:

1. Login to the official counselling website using the registered login ID.
2. Download the allotment letter.
3. Upload all mandatory documents.
4. Wait for online verification of the uploaded documents by the allotted college.
5. After successful document verification, pay the Advance Tuition Fee online.
6. Download the Advance Tuition Fee Receipt and Freeze Confirmation Slip.
7. Report personally to the allotted college with the fee receipt and required original documents.
8. Pay the remaining tuition fee and other applicable charges directly to the allotted college.
9. Collect the admission letter from the concerned college.

Candidates selecting Freeze should note that once the Freeze option is accepted and admission is confirmed, they will not be allowed to participate in subsequent counselling rounds.

Procedure for Float Candidates

Candidates who select the Float option are required to:

• Login using their registered login ID.
• Download the allotment letter.
• Upload the mandatory documents.
• Get the documents verified online by the allotted college.
• Download the Float Confirmation Slip.

Float candidates do not have to proceed for physical document verification at the allotted institute at this stage, as their documents will be verified online by the college authorities.

Advance Tuition Fee for Uttarakhand NEET UG 2026

The notice specifies different advance tuition fee amounts for the allotted institutions. For example, the advance fee for Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Government Medical Science & Research Institute, Srinagar Garhwal, and Soban Singh Jeena Government Medical Science & Research Institute, Almora is ₹50,000 for the applicable category, while several government medical colleges have an advance tuition fee of ₹1,45,000.

For certain private medical and dental institutions, the advance tuition fee specified in the notice is higher. Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun; Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Sciences, Dehradun and Gautam Buddha Medical College, Dehradun have an advance tuition fee of ₹10,00,000. The advance fee for Seema Dental College, Rishikesh and Uttaranchal Dental & Medical Research Institute, Dehradun is ₹2,00,000.

Documents Required for Admission

Candidates reporting to their allotted college must carry the required original documents, including:

• Allotment Letter
• Proof of payment of centralized advance tuition fee
• Class 10 certificate for age proof
• Class 12 certificate and marksheet
• NEET UG 2026 Admit Card
• NEET UG 2026 Result/Rank Letter
• Valid reserved category certificate, wherever applicable
• Sub-category certificate, wherever applicable
• PwBD certificate from an NMC-designated Medical Board, wherever applicable
• Relevant certificates for Kashmiri Migrants, if applicable
• Uttarakhand domicile certificate, wherever applicable
• Valid identity proof
• Other documents required by the concerned college
• Payment of remaining tuition fee, hostel, mess and other applicable charges.

Important Deadline for Freeze Candidates

Candidates who fail to provide the required documents to the concerned college/principal by the prescribed final date of September 5, 2026, or whose documents reveal that they do not meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, may have their allotted seat cancelled immediately.

Candidates must also complete the Freeze or Float selection within the specified admission period. Failure to select either option by the deadline will result in cancellation of the Round 1 seat and the seat will be included in the Round 2 vacant seat matrix. Such candidates can participate in Round 2 but cannot claim their Round 1 allotment.

The admission will be completed only after the required formalities and verification are successfully completed and the candidate receives an admission letter from the concerned college within the specified timeline.
