Uttarakhand NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Seat Surrender Deadline Set for September 16

HNBUMU has allowed Uttarakhand NEET UG 2026 Round 1 candidates to surrender their allotted seats without security deposit forfeiture until 5:00 PM on September 16, 2026.

Uttarakhand NEET UG Round 1 Seat Surrender Deadline Set for September 16

The Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) has issued a notice regarding the seat surrender, withdrawal and resignation procedure for Round 1 of Uttarakhand Centralized Counselling for NEET UG 2026.

As per the notice, candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 1 on the basis of merit and choices exercised by them, selected the FREEZE option, and completed the admission process at the allotted institute can surrender their seats without forfeiture of the security deposit.

Such candidates must personally report to the concerned institute and complete the surrender process on or before 5:00 PM on September 16, 2026. No candidate will be permitted to surrender a Round 1 allotted seat after the prescribed deadline.

FLOAT Candidates Can Also Surrender Seats

Candidates who were allotted a Round 1 seat and selected the FLOAT option can also surrender their allotted seat without forfeiture of the security deposit. These candidates are required to log in to their account using their Login ID and complete the surrender process by 5:00 PM on September 16, 2026.

The university has advised candidates to regularly visit the official HNBUMU website for further updates and important information related to the counselling process.
