The Government of West Bengal, Directorate of Medical Education, has issued the Notice-cum-Information Bulletin for NEET UG 2026 counselling for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses under State Quota, Private College Management Quota and NRI Quota seats.

The counselling will be conducted online by the West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) for NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates.

Candidates can use the prescribed A1, A2 or B domicile certificate formats, while valid domicile certificates obtained through the West Bengal e-District portal will also be accepted as applicable.

Management Quota Seats

Candidates who are not domiciled in West Bengal can participate in Private Medical and Dental College Management Quota seats, provided they meet the NEET UG 2026 eligibility criteria.

Candidates choosing private college seats must also pay a security deposit:

The security deposit is adjusted against the course fee after allotment, subject to the conditions specified in the counselling bulletin.

Eligible NEET UG 2026 candidates meeting the prescribed NRI eligibility requirements can apply for NRI Quota seats in private medical colleges.

Candidates opting for NRI Quota cannot simultaneously opt for State Quota or Management Quota seats. NRI candidates will undergo document verification at the allotted college during the admission process.
