West Bengal NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Counselling Schedule Revised
The Directorate of Medical Education, Government of West Bengal, has released a revised tentative schedule for Round 1 of WB NEET UG 2026 counselling for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under State Quota, Private Management Quota, and NRI Quota seats.
The revised schedule was issued through Memo No. HFW-23099/320/2026/M/2190 dated August 20, 2026.

Registration and Fee Payment Window
Candidates who have not yet completed the registration process can register from 3 PM on August 20 to 6 PM on August 23, 2026. The fee payment facility will remain available until midnight on August 23, 2026, as per server time.
Candidates who missed the earlier verification dates can attend verification on August 21 or August 24, 2026, at their designated college and time slot.
Choice Filling and Seat Allotment
The list of successfully verified candidates along with the Round 1 seat matrix will be published on August 25 after 12 noon. Eligible candidates can then complete online choice filling and locking from 4 PM on August 25 to 4 PM on August 27, 2026.
The Round 1 seat allotment result will be published on August 31, 2026, after 4 PM.
Reporting and Admission
Candidates allotted seats must report to the designated venue on September 1, 2, 3, or 5, 2026, between 10 AM and 4 PM. They must carry all required original documents, college fees and the applicable bond.
Candidates allotted seats in private medical colleges will complete the reporting/admission process at designated government medical colleges in Kolkata. Venue details will be announced separately.
For candidates allotted seats in private dental colleges, reporting will be conducted at Dr. R. Ahmed Dental College.
Admission will be confirmed only after successful physical document verification and re-verification at the designated venue. Candidates are advised to follow the official schedule and check the West Bengal counselling authority's website regularly for further updates.
